Paying Better Attention to Audio Quality…
A special thank you to Andrew E. (a supporter and friend on Patreon) for providing me with an audio interface that will allow me to better record sounds from my keyboard ( a significant upgrade from the Zoom H5)! Over the last year or so, I’ve been learning more and more about recording audio while learning from many mistakes while running a Youtube channel and working with PBS. I think one of the common factors between many young classical musicians is that (we) are quite unaware of how to manage recording something. The process is quite removed from our actual practice because our primary instruments are acoustic, whereas I find that musicians of other genres more commonly dabble with recording things on their own all the time. I think one of the perks of putting videos together, for me, is to be able to learn about these things as I go. Thank you again to Andrew.
